Do you travel?

Yes!!! We will travel anywhere you’d like us to go. We include travel throughout the state of Georgia within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, Georgia in our packages. And if you’re outside of those areas, fear not! Our travel fees are small.

Should I hire a photographer as my first vendor?

We recommend you lock in the venue as your first vendor to ensure your wedding date is available when you book your next wedding vendor. Your photographer should definitely be the next vendor you hire because after all, you are putting in all of the work to have a beautiful wedding with gorgeous details. You’ll need the perfect documentation to show it all off when its over!

Should we do an engagement session?

YES. An engagement session is the perfect way for us to get to know one another and to practice in front of the camera – that way, nothing is new on your wedding day. For this reason, we offer an Adventure engagement session as an option. We can recommend locations, but we prefer you include locations or activities that mean something to you as a couple.

What is required to book Union Lane & Company for our wedding?

The first installment and a signed agreement is your retainer and all that is required to secure us as your photographers. This can be done electronically. The photography or videography package you choose and all prices are written into the agreement so you won’t need to worry about any prices changing between booking and your wedding date. (Print prices are also guaranteed to not go up within 6 months of your wedding date.) Please contact usl if you need more information or would like to reserve your date today!

What is your refund policy?

Your initial payment for wedding services is non-refundable. Subsequent payments are subject to our Terms and Conditions outlined in your agreement with us.

When is my first payment due?

We offer a risk-free reservation policy and straightforward payment schedule. Here's how it works:

 

25% of your total balance or first installment will secure your date and is applied to the cost of your package. You can choose from several payment plans ranging from 1 full payment to 6 payments depending on the date of your wedding. The full balance is due 30 days before your wedding date.

Who will be my photographer/videographer?

We’ve hired our photographers & videographers into our family. When we evaluate a wedding photographer or videographer, we see all of the shots they take — not just their favorite few. All Union Lane & Company photographers and videographers have completed a rigorous certification process. Certification includes a thorough portfolio review and successful completion of apprentice weddings. Certification standards ensure consistent photo quality, skilled technical composition, thoughtful storytelling and sociable personality.

What if I don't like my photographer/videographer assignment?

Nearly 100% of Union Lane & Company brides are happy with their initial photographer/videographer match. We have a wedding styling expert that will analyze your questionnaire as well as any Pinterest or images you share with us 90 days before your wedding to assign the right person.

I've reserved my wedding with Union Lane & Company! What are the next steps?

Rate photos, enter wedding day timeline, and a photography questionnaire. We will need all of this information to match your photographer to you.

Can you guarantee that I'll have coverage on my wedding day?

Unlike working with an individual, an advantage of working with Union Lane & Company is no matter what happens, you will always have a certified ULC Videographer and/or Photographer on the day of your wedding.

When and how will I receive my wedding photos?

On average, it’s about less than 30 days before the photos are available online for viewing. We do offer a 14 day expedited option. Your photos will be posted to your online gallery. You will be able to view and download your pictures and order prints instantly via our easy-to-use online ordering system. You will receive a selected set of the best images from the day. If you purchased separately one of our usb options, we will send your digital images on usb soon after the images are posted online.

Can you digitally retouch or enhance my photos?

Absolutely. We want you to be thrilled with every part of your wedding — that's why we offer light digital retouching as an important part of our photography services with no additional cost. Personalized retouching options are available at an additional cost.
